They provide users with an alternative to get paid online from completing online surveys that are periodically disseminated to their subscribers. Joining Opinion Outpost is absolutely free but they only accepts members from United States and Canada. A survey participant also need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible to earn cash for surveys.

1. Online Surveys
Opinion Outpost implement a system in which a user will get "opinion points" for completing a survey that are redeemable for cash. Each 10 opinion points are equal to $1 and for a typical 15-20 minutes surveys, you can get around $3 dollars each. Some surveys will not pay by cash but through sweepstakes and prizes.


2. Referrals
Opinion Outpost categorized their referral system into two parts: Refer-A-Friend and Affiliate program which for me are actually quite the same. For Refer-A-Friend, you can promote your referral link to your friends using their form in which they will send an invitation e-mail to the mentioned addresses. For each of your friends that have joined Opinion Outpost as your referral, they will reward you with opinion points when they have completed at least one survey. As for Affiliate program, you are required to have website in which you will be promoting your referral link from there. They will pay $1 for each users that joins their survey panel from your referral link.

Payments
You can request a payment once you have accumulated 50 points = $5 in your account. Opinion Outpost will send you payments via check within 6-8 weeks from the requested day. For affiliate programs, they will send checks to affiliates members that have accumulated $20 during the previous month.

In conclusion, though they only limit registration for US and Canada residents, Opinion Outpost is considered as one of the most secure paid surveys network online. They claim to provide the best service by protecting their members privacy information and has been accredited by CASRO, MRA, AMA, AAPOR and ARF.
